I’m a pianist, piano teacher and photographer based in Chester, with more than 20 years’ experience in music education and performance.
I studied Music at university before completing a PGCE in Secondary Music at Durham University, and have spent my career helping people enjoy making music, from complete beginners taking their first steps at the piano to experienced musicians preparing for performances and examinations.
Alongside teaching, I work as a pianist for weddings and events, an accompanist, and a photographer through W777 Photography. I particularly enjoy the variety of combining teaching with creative and performance work.
My approach is friendly and informal, whether I’m teaching a piano lesson, performing at an event or working behind the camera. Enjoyment comes first, but always with the aim of doing things well.
